Corsignano: Lori's family cradle, was once an ancient medieval village and is nowadays a refined resort. It is stronghold of an important cultural and familiar tradition as well as echo of an evocative past, and most of all, a current emblem of fine architecture and helpful hospitality. Mr Lorenzo Lori wished the old village restoration; a careful restoration retaining the old structure and lawns as well as the use of original materials and the exploitation of woods by setting up an artistic course just reveal the tasteful care of every detail.

Borgo Corsignano lies between the medieval Rock of Romena and the Castle of Poppi, not far from Florence, the city of the Medici family, and the evocative echoes of La Verna and Camaldoli Sanctuary. In 1037 the original village was given from the Arezzo Bishop Emmone to Camaldoli Hermitage; then it waited until our century to see its total restoration always retaining the typical local building material - wood, cotto tiles, stone-, the characteristic architectural style and most of all its ancient beauty and atmosphere.

Thin brick arches and stone walls raise from the green casket of Casentino and originate rich farmhouses, each one with its own court yard in flower.

Wide lawns and playgrounds areas make pleasant the rhythm of today's life pleasant, offering in the meantime quite town at a stone's throw from everyday world.

This quiet oasis is absolutely as good as everyday world. A comfortable hall, Limonaia, is available for the moments that guests like to spend together; two wide comfortable halls are also available for family gatherings or meetings; the wide terrace next to the swimming pool offers the perfect location for brunches and dinners. Borgo Corsignano offers a unique opportunity to combine relax and movement together.

Limonaia offers a comfortable area for the moments that guests like to spend together to enjoy aperitifs, group activities.

The guests can take advantage of playgrounds specially created for them. Celli offers a five-a-side football pitch, a basketball court and a tennis court too. A private lake with solarium is also available to enjoy relax making heliotherapy or fishing. Ping pong, billiard, and playground are ready for young children.
Special rates to rent mountain bikes in Ponte a Poppi village; 3 km. far from Borgo there is a riding school available for keens on rides.

The wide spaces available offer the possibility for long relaxing walks in the greeneries nearby the property.
