History

Signoria Apartments, a luxurious abode immersed in the heart of Florence’s history.

Set in the traditional Via della Condotta street, whose name comes from the Ufficio della Condotta, which was supposed to recruit and pay soldiers, for the conduct of the wars in the XIV century. A block away from Piazza Della Signoria, were the Medicis erected in 1322 the Palazzo Vecchio (Old Palace). Located in an ideal setting, 5 minutes walking distance from Florence’s most important landmarks. Such as Ponte Vecchio, Il Duomo, Piazza Santa Croce , Orsanmichele church.


The Signoria Apartment building dates back the Renaissance times in possession by the Florentine nobility for many centuries. Its current owners, the Lori Family have meticulously remodeled the building preserving its original architecture. The apartments are decorated in classical Florentine style.

The building has 7 independent luminous apartments preserving its original XVI century architecture but offering all the modern amenities refined tourist are accustomed. There is an elevator lift were you can reach all the apartments.
